Dr. Jacquelyn Sugianto

Dr. Jacquelyn Sugianto is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and certified glaucoma specialist who provides a variety of vision services including comprehensive eye exams, fitting contact lenses, and diagnosing and managing ocular pathology.  She grew up in Katy, Texas where she graduated as valedictorian of her high school.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston.  After graduating summa cum laude in 2013, she has very much enjoyed serving as an optometrist in DFW.

While at the College of Optometry Dr. Sugianto earned clinical honors, held a leadership role in the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric honor society, and was awarded membership to the Gold Key International Honor Society which is considered the highest honor for leadership a student of optometry can achieve. She participated in a clinical internship at Bridge Builders Eye Clinic which provided care for indigent populations.  She is a long-standing member of the Texas Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association.

In her leisure time, Dr. Sugianto enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.  Her husband is also an optometrist, and they have a young son together, whom they adore. She loves musicals along with singing and playing violin in her church choir.
