Dr. Tuquynh (Kristy) Duong is a compassionate and dedicated licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She performs comprehensive eye exams with an interest in primary care, ocular disease management and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Duong graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Louisiana State University in 2020. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2024, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors and distinction for clinical excellence in neuro-ophthalmic diseases.
While completing her externships, she has gained extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and managing various eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration and preoperative and postoperative care.
During her optometric training, Dr. Duong developed a keen interest in contact lenses. She completed an advanced contact lens studies course where she received specialized training in fitting various types of contact lenses, including soft, rigid gas permeable, and specialty lenses for conditions such as keratoconus and astigmatism. In addition to her academic endeavors, she also held membership in service organizations such as Lions Club. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and Gold Key International Honor Society. She is
currently a member of Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
Outside of the workplace, Dr. Duong enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to embark on her career as an optometrist and looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients.
